One of the affected schools, Neev Academy in Sadashivanagar, took precautionary measures by closing for the day. Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, showing solidarity with the affected schools, visited Neev Academy. While acknowledging the seriousness of the situation, he expressed his belief that the threats appeared to be a hoax. Shivakumar urged city residents not to succumb to panic, assuring them that the safety of the children was a top priority.
