The news, confirmed by his co-star Dayanand Shetty, revealed that the actor, who had become a household name through CID, succumbed to multiple organ failure at Mumbai’s Tunga Hospital.
Dinesh Phadnis had been battling extensive liver damage and was on ventilator support, ultimately taking his last breath at 12:08 am. The previous night saw him being removed from the ventilator, marking the end of his struggle with health complications.
