JEE Main 2024 Live Updates: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has commenced the registration process for the JEE Main 2024 session 1. Aspiring candidates can visit jeemain.nta.ac.in to access the notification and complete the application form. The deadline for application submission is November 30, 2023.
The first exam session is scheduled for January-February, with the second session set for April. Alongside the application forms, NTA has also released the exam’s information bulletin and syllabus.
Candidates can choose to appear in either JEE Main 2024 session 1, session 2, or both. If they opt for both sessions, the higher score will be considered in the final result, and there’s no need to reapply for session 2. Those appearing in only one session (session 1 or 2) must complete the entire registration and application process.
JEE Main Exam 2023: Applying for Both Sessions
Candidates have the option to apply for one session or both sessions (Session 1 and Session 2 of 2024) together and pay the exam fee accordingly.
How to Apply for JEE Main 2023 Session 1:
Visit the official JEE Main website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Click on the “JEE Main 2024 Session 1 registration” link on the homepage.
Enter your registration details and submit.
Log in to your account and complete the application form.
Make the payment of the application fees and submit.
Download the confirmation page and keep a hard copy for future reference.

JEE Main 2024 Dates:

Documents Required for JEE Main 2024 Session 1:
You’ll need scanned images of your photograph, signature, and PwD Certificate/UDID Card if applicable. Make sure your passport photo is recent, in color or black and white, taken against a white background, with 80% of the face, including ears, visible, and without a mask. The scanned photograph and signature should be in JPG/JPEG format, and the sizes should be within specified limits.
NTA’s Instructions for Registration:
Candidates have several options for registration, including creating a DigiLocker account through the NAD portal, an Academic Bank of Credits ID (ABC ID), Indian and Non-Indian Passport Numbers, PAN Card Number, or Aadhaar Enrollment Number. Registering through DigiLocker/ABC ID is recommended. Those who choose not to use DigiLocker/ABC ID need to report one hour before the entry time at the examination center on the exam day.
NTA’s Warning about Multiple Applications:
Candidates are not allowed to submit more than one application form under any circumstances. Strict action will be taken against those who submit multiple forms.
