Kim Kardashian has always been a fashion icon, but she has also faced her fair share of criticism, especially when it comes to her Met Gala appearances. In a recent interview, Kardashian opened up about some of the negative experiences she’s had at the annual fashion event.
“I’ve definitely had some Met Gala moments that I’m not proud of,” Kardashian admitted. “I can remember crying in the bathroom after one particularly scathing review.”
Kardashian’s most controversial Met Gala look was arguably her 2013 floral-covered Givenchy dress, which was widely criticized for being too revealing. “I was really insecure about my body at the time,” she said. “I felt like everyone was judging me.”
Despite the negative experiences, Kardashian says she still loves the Met Gala and considers it to be one of the most important fashion events of the year. “It’s a chance to be creative and have fun with fashion,” she said. “I’m learning to not let the haters get to me.”
